Im just writing to enquire, if using the FILEOPEN api - i can customise the titles of the open and cancel buttons?

I do not think so since they are Windows objects. You can customize the heading of the Browse Folder or File Save As objects. I do it in my samples @ Browse [Find a directory or file]
