filtered combo box selection

Hello,

I have been playing around with it but got nowhere with it.

Attached is a test copy of what I'm trying to do.

In the form, if you make a selection from the dropdown combo called "client area", then ideally the category combo box should show you a list values LIMITED to that client area, but this is not working at all even with the requery macro.

Please let me know if you find anything strange.

The criteria for the category combo refers to itself, rather than the client combo:

SELECT category.client_area, category.category
FROM category
WHERE (((category.category)=[forms]![TEST]![category]));
