Filtering data before report

Is there a way to send the data displayed in a filtered form to a report for printing?

A database I have made has a form and users of the database can filter the information they see using the filtering tools in Access. This means that my users do not need to fiddle with setting up queries, but can quickly get the information they need, e.g. by filtering a customers form for "Anytown" they can see all customers who live in "Anytown".

I'd like to be able to use this filtered information as the basis of a report to provide more control over how the information looks on paper. Is this possible?
