I was wondering if there is a way to find out who is logged into the database. I have a problem with identifying the person or persons who are logged into the database when I need to make changes, because they are accessing the database on the network. Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.

You may be able to use the LDB file to get that information, but I don't know how.

you could also try adding a script that will kick users off a database when you want to make changes. an example can be found at Rogers Access Library

The ldb file shows the host name of the workstations that have logged in during the current ldb session. If you have a map or a list of where all your machines are or who sits at each machine then you can ring around the users who are listed. Note that just because a machine is listed in the ldb it doesn't necessarily mean that the machine is using the DB now just that it has during this session. You can open the ldb in Notepad among other things.
