Find Previous month

How difficult can it be.....!!!!

ive tried

format(now(),"mmmm")-1

but it doesn't work

Ive tried

tempdate = format(now(),"mm")-1
fieldname = format(tempdate,"mmmm")

This comes out with January for some unknown reason.

Look up the DateAdd function and use Date() instead of Now()
