Good Evening,

I have a couple of Macros which produce a lengthy sequence of pdf files from a Report.
I now want to pull these files from a Report with a different name. I wish to change multiple occurrences of the Report name using Find & Replace, but I haven't found such a facility. Surely it must be possible to do someething as simple as this.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.
Access 2010.

Not with macros. One of the many reasons I don't use them:)

You can convert the macros to vba code and use find and replace there instead - but you won't be able to convert it back to a macro

There's a free tool called V-Tools that has a deep search that will do the find, but not sure if it will replace.

Thank you CJ & Paul,

It seems that I shall have to do the necessary the tedious way - 26 times.

V-Tools is free and very good
It can do Find & Replace for all database objects EXCEPT macros
The author is very helpful but AFAIK hasn't updated it for several years

Before i was aware of its existence, I built my own equivalent tool which can also do find & replace in all database objects INCLUDING macros

Currently not available as a standalone application though I could modify it given time to convert. However I would need to change for my time.

If interested, suggest you email me using the link below.
I can email a PDF explaining the tool - over 2MB (zipped) so too big to post here
