I've taken the Microsoft 2310 ASP.NET programming class and it was very interesting. Alas, it was 7 months ago and I haven't used it since so I don't remember any of it.

Yeah, same with me and Java, had it two semesters ago, so I don't remember much, but at least I still have my books.

Yes, it is my 'Internet programming with database' class. I've started thumbing through it. Looks fun.

The one I am kinda dreading is my OS class. We will see, it may turn out to be fun.

I don't know what college you are attending, but the OS class I had to take was kind of a pisser. It was very interesting stuff, don't get me wrong, but it got into SO much detail about how the OS opens threads to different things to "talk" to each other and how it passes information in and out of the registers and how the processor talks to everything, etc. Ugh. Am I glad I'm done with my Bachelor's degree.

I see on the news that more fires have erupted in southern Oklahoma and twenty homes have been destroyed by them. Glad you're not in harm's way. I wish more rain would come. The southern mountains in New Mexico only have received 10% of the snow they normally would have received so far. That is going to hurt in the spring. The expression "dry as a bone" seems very appropriate right now. Texas is also experiencing the fires.

It may be short sleeve shirt weather or it may snow. The weather will be temperate and probably windy. Overall this place has a climate that causes many people to come back. Average rainfall for a year is about 8 inches. Albuquerque is a "mile high" city. The Sandia mountains next to the city reaches a height of 10,700 feet above sea level. Most people only think about the desert regions here, but there are a lot of mountains. The Rio Grande runs through the valley in Albuquerque.

Went to a meeting there several years ago, had supper up in the Sandias that night. Beautiful country.

I will be teaching a bunch of police officers at our annual training conference. topics will be: shipment integrity reports, forensic video analysis, services offered in our office, data/crime analysis.
