form, exporting to html

Hi

I have a report running in my database and i have created a form which includes a button to send the report to file, i want to send it in HTML format but when i save it, the file is unrecognised by my computer. To make things stranger i can open the report (from reports menu), go to the file menu and export it to HTML from there and it works fine.

Anyone know how to overcome this

How are you "sending the report to a file?"

im using a button which, when clicked is saving the file in a selected format,

However i have just solved the problem, thanks for the quick relpy
