Hello Everyone,

I have a problem with one of my forms, I have a Combo box where the user can pick a leaseID, I have it set to display the apartment number that belongs to this leaseID. "This Works Good"

I also have a Combo box that user can pick the TenantId, I have it to diaplay the Tenants Full Name. I did a query on Row Source that will only show the TenantID that is related to the LeaseID. The way I did this was by telling the criteria on the row source query to put what ever is on that field on the form.. This looks like its working....

Now, The Problem; When I select the Tenants name it saves it on my table but when I open the form it will not display the name...

The form name is Deposits, and the reason for doing this is so I can see who made the deposit.

I will use this also on my payment form so I can select the tenant that made that payment and have a record of it.

Here is my DB and goto the form deposits... you will see there what I mean.

Thanks,

DaniBoy

A relatively small percentage of experienced developers are running Access 2007. You should always post what version you're running when posting a database, so that people who can't open it don't waste their time downloading it.

You need to add the Tenants table to your form in the forms Record Source, link it to the Security Deposits table and pull the Tenants name into the query.

Also, hope that this is not real data, I wouldn't want someone sending out my Social Security number to a Forum where hundreds can see it...or that small % of us using Access 2007

Nah! Those people with 2007 haven't got time to do evil! They spend most of their time trying to learn where everything went to! :D

Thank you for the info

All is fake data, just trying to make it work.

Thanks
