Form not opening the correct way

HI,

I have a form that is a popup. When I have the form in design view then change to form view, it opens as a blank. However when I open the main form in my database and click the button to open the popup form it opens with all of the elements showing. Why is this?

What's the code behind the button? It may be overriding a default setting.

I got it to work. I have no idea what I was doing wrong, or what I did to fix it. I just hope it doesn't go back to not working. Thank you for the help though. I was thoroughly confused.

Ah good, glad you got it working. Sometimes weird things happen.

the most likely cause of a blank form, is that you have no records to display, and the form itself is set to not allow additions, or you have a non-updateable record set.

In which case you "see" a completely blank form, and you cannot even address the blank controls, which are "undefined", as I call it. Not null, just non-existing
