Okay ... I think I've confused myself to the piont that I might not be able explain my issue ...so forgive me : )
I have a form called "change request" with a linked form called" assessment" ...
On both forms I have a common field called "Change request Number"
the change request number is an "auto number" field on the "Change Request Form" which feeds into the "change request Number" field on the "Assessment" form now ....the issue I have is
Whenever I click on the "change request number" field ont he "assessment" form I get the following error
"The value you have entered isn't validfor this field.....
Foe example, you may entered text in a numeric field or a nuber that is larger than the Fieldsizesetting permits?
I have honestly checked eveything I possible know to check ...if anyone can help I would really appreicate it!
Thank you in advance
