Formulas again... (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone, i just read Jaspers post below, but I am still having problems with doing the formulas. When I do an update query for a new field i created (called Field 1), and run it, I just get a bunch of blank spaces (i.e. the formula didnt work). Are there any ideas out there on what I am doing wrong? Any alternative ideas?

Sorry, what is an SQL? I am new at this.

Open the query in design view. Then using the toolbar, change it to SQL view. Copy the text and paste it here.
