I have now upgraded these forums to the latest version, which tightens up loopholes against hackers and other security issues.

I intend to add some more forums to day and reinstate the moderator privaledges.

I still cant log in with my old user name. The same blank screen.

Really? That's not good news. The vbulleting team assured me it would clear the cookie problem. I will get onto them.

Copy the the url of this thread. Log out. Paste the url back in your browser and go to it again if you are not already here. Then try logging in with your old name and choose "Remember Me". You should be able to log in and remain in the thread. If not, paste the url again. Once logged in, go into your user cp/Edit Options and change the forum skin to 'Use Forum Default' .... that did it for me

Jon,
Just wanted to say thanks and express appreciation for your efforts in what I'm sure was almost a week of frustration for you.

Do you have your vBulletin account set up to get the Upgrade notifications? I know that I certainly got emails when 3.06, 3.07, 3.08, and 3.5.0 were released.

Jon, thanks so much. Your effort is noticed. The New Features are great.

skea, can you tell me what the new features are exactly? I am trying to do so much here getting things up and running again that I don't have the time to research stuff.

I have noticed quite a number when you click post reply.
The One which amazes me most is when you click the quick reply. Its very fast and direct. If you want to edit that post,it will take you to Quick edit in the same message. I suppose there quite a number deep-rooted in there.
Compliments to VBulletin team.

And on quick reply you get a message saying your post is being sent which will hopefully reduce the double posts when things hang at times

Peter

If you are going to use the quick reply, it might be a nice gesture to provide the Enhanced version so people still have the BB code buttons to press. :)
