I have read many threads in this forum. Many seem to be about killing. It makes me wonder why it is that people in any country can justify taking the life of another. What ever gave us the power, the right for such decisions? The worlds priorities are all messed up. hand guns and uzzies (we'll just pretend i spell correctly) are not for hunting! no person should have the right to a tool used to harm others. and the worst part is, all the people who make the decisions and rules, are not really the ones who live with it. it's a true sign of human selfishness. *pheww* ok now that i have that off my chest. the point of this post! a man here in London, (Ontario, Canada) was standing on the corner of a busy intersection yesterday holding a sign saying "free hugs" to which he honoured for any passer-by willing to take him up on his offer. apparently the response was actually pretty good and he had quite a few takers. if only the rest of the world worked on such simplistic logic.

Anyone else with a feel good story to bring the mood up in this forum? Sometimes it's nice to hear a good story. smiles are contagious you know. :D

Notice how you haven't received many responses yet, clearly death, destruction and maiming is more interesting than some loon standing on the street corner giving free hugs...

Hope everybody he hugged checked their wallet after :p

could also worry about naughty touches from the loon :D

For free hugs and exclamations of love - just get pissed.

I saw an event in Crystal Palace - called friends of amma(might of got the name wrong) anyway it was a holy lady - and you lined up and she gve you a hug and departed words of wisedom to you in urdo (?)

she was trying to promote peace and understanding - mind you she could of been say sling your hook you lazy free loader" I am sure she wasn't but it was a nice idea- wish I had gone ....
