Getting averages from two columns...

This should be a quickie I hope - I've got two columns: Date / Hour, Avg Response Time.

I want to make a further two columns, one called Date / Hour (unique) and one called Av response/hour

I want the Date / Hour (unique) to look at all the dates and hours in the date / hour column and only display the unique ones (i.e. one of each) in the new date / hour (unique) field.

Meanwhile, I want the Av response/hour column to look at all the dates / times in the Date / hour field and give me an average response time for each date / hour.

For example,

Date / Hour Response Time Date / Hour Unique Av Response Time
01/01/05 00:00 1000 01/01/05 00:00 1500
01/01/05 00:00 2000 01/02/05 00:00 2000
02/01/05 00:00 2000
01/01/05 00:00 2000

Any ideas? I'm probably thinking of this the wrong way....

Nevermind about this guys n gals, I found a way to get the result I needed using a pivot table.

Easy.
