I didn't suffer any heart attacks until I was 64. I had a feeling it was going to happen because repeated tests showed my lipids were high. Sure enough, in 2021 they rushed me to the cath lab and removed a blob of cholesterol that was blocking 99% of blood flow in my left anterior descending artery, causing a tear which they spliced up with overlapping stents. Now my EF averages 60-65% in the last stress test.If you feel a pain in your chest (even if for just 5 seconds), don’t ignore it. The same is true for other symptoms.
