I took a 2 day class last year, I really got busy early this year and I have learned a lot. Some came from books, some I learned by reading these forums and some was by paying for tricky programming help.

My DB gets better and better. I recently split the data base and I am now working on reports to convey the information.

Thanks for all the good insights..

Welcome to AWF! :D

Great to hear that you split your database. I start every database split.

And I think your experience is pretty normal. You can go get so far yourself, but at some point you need someone to give you a little insight or nudge to get you over the hill to the next level. If you are lucky you dont have to pay for it - but its probably worth it for good help - especially if its in a corporate setting!

Bear in mind that there is generally more than 1 way to achieve most things.
