Hi all..

I have a report setup like so:

Employee Number Header
Details

Spouse of Said Employee Header
Details

Children of Said Employee Header
Details

Veh of Said Employee Header
Details

I have attached the problem I am having. If their is more then one child the info splits....and it takes the veh info with it... See attached. Any suggestions on how I can remedy this? I would like the children that are associated with the employe to be in a list and I would like the veh(s) associated to also be in a list.. Not duplicating

I have the report based of a query that is drawing information from different tables.

Thanks
R~

So what you want to do is have the following:

EMPLOYEE DETAILS

SPOUSE DETAILS OF THE ABOVE EMPLOYEE

CHILDREN OF THE ABOVE EMPLOYEE

DETAILS OF THE EMPLOYEES VEHICLE

I think this is what you are after so let me know and I can explain it. Its not difficult its just that you have your GROUPING levels mixed up on your report. You may also have to readapt your query which is the record source for the report.

Hello..

I would like to have it setup like this:

Employee #1
-----------------
Spouse(s)
#1
#2
#etc
Children(s)
#1
#2
#etc
Vehicle(s)
#1
#2
#etc

Employee #2
-----------------
Spouse(s)
#1
#2
#etc
Children(s)
#1
#2
#etc
Vehicle(s)
#1
#2
#etc

Thanks for your help!!

R~

Anybody else care to take a stab at this... I have attached another report that I tried and it is giving me the same problem.

I have the spouse/children/veh all have their own group heading... I have also tried group footing and that didn't work..

I figured it out.. Used a subreport!

Thanks
R~

You are confusing groupings with displaying all applicable data for a certain group. I think what you need is to group by your top grouping and then create sub reports for your spouse/children/vehicles piece so that each of those shows up the way you want for each change of the main group.
