My name is Alexandre and I am from Brazil.
I'm a civil engineer and I have a small company that is supposed to grow haha
I have experience working with programming, lots of Excel, VBA etc., but worked very little with Access.
My goal is to make a good system to join all my transactions: bank, purchases, stock, estimates, employees etc.
I enjoyed Access database from a previous work, love the interface but struggle with connection.
I am looking this forum for a month, but now I have questions hahah

Hello, Alexandre, and welcome to the forum.

Since you have experience with Excel and VBA, you have some helpful skills - but you also may have a bad habit hiding in those skills. Remember that Excel and Access take two totally different views on data organization. Particularly when you have a goal of dealing with sets of transactions that are interrelated, Access can do this easily but Excel would drive you slightly crazy. Do yourself a favor and look to our member Uncle Gizmo, because he has posted some videos about the Excel-to-Access adaptation process.
