Hello all.

I have joined because I am writing a customer service/service desk for my company which log all assets installed at locations around the UK and will also log all faults of these assets based on their location.

It’s my first time doing any coding or database work but am really relishing the challenge. I am fortunate in that I have two highly experienced C# colleagues, however, I’ve asked to be left to it unless I am really struggling.

I’m currently in the stage of adding and linking all of my tables which is nearly done. Along side this I am watching all of Steve Bishops and Richard Rost tutorial videos, I have also purchased a book named ‘Access Bible’

I look forward to getting involved with the forum. Speak soon, Steven.

Welcome Steven! FYI I moved your thread out of a technical forum to the introductions forum.

Thank you pbaldy. I didn’t realise I had posted in the wrong section.

Just be sure that when you touch those training and tutorials that you cover the sections on database normalization rules. That will go a long way on assuring flexibiility.

And welcome, by the way!
