Hi
Coming back to databases after a break of some 30 odd years, in those days it was dBase III and Clipper, so this VBA stuff is all very new to me, it is purely for personal projects, and I'll be learning as I go.

Hello, Lucy, and welcome to the forum.

If you had a break of 30 odd years, what did you do in the intervening 30 even years?

If you haven't guessed it by now, we can be a bit whimsical here. Professional when needed - but life's too short to not include at least some humor now and then. Jon's last sentence in his welcome message is not a casual phrase.
