Hi.
I'm new to access or any form of programming on PCs but I have been coding on mainframes for nearly 30 years.
My project is to write a simple database for a charity to allow a 3rd world hospital to keep control of their drugs and medicines. Access would seem to be the right tool for this job but I've already spent far more time trying to get to grips with it than I would have writing it in the language I know. I'm still trying to find my way around the Northwind DB and at the same time experimenting with setting up my own database. I keep searching the internet for example databases which would require very little modification to be suitable.
When I'm not programming I spend my time riding a Harley or driving our 2CV van.
