Busy trying to work out my second access program I really did not pay attention to this section. I was here for the help wasn't I? And boy I did get help, therefore it is my pleasure to write a little in this section as well. Years ago I made an Access application for the school where I was managing director.
The application did hold all the data that was normally processed by hand. From intake to diploma, from the first test till the exam. Reporting capabilities to the County Counsel and Job centres. Then I fell ill with a heart attack and I haven't worked since. Now I am trying to write an Access application for a friend that will manage two weigh-bridges. Just had my third attack in July so I am easy going.. To close this little contribution I would like to thank all that have given me support in a friendly and understanding environment.. You're all great guys..:p

Thanks for that Reece, much appreciated, and a belated welcome to the forum from me, and I suspect t'others would say the same...

BTW... I am familiar with weighbridge operation from 13 years running a gravel business in Newbury, Berks. I may be able to help with weighbridge issues.

Thanks Uncle Gizmo,
My friend has a weigh bridge that operates with a Bilanciai D410 head and a small docket printer. This setup has no back office and every docket is manually entered into Excel. , I am getting to the stage where I want to read the data of the head into my Access program. It is working to the point where you can type in the weight on the bridge in a Textbox. Friendly RuralGuy send me some examples but I am afraid my programming skill are not sufficient for those solutions. So will keep browsing and studying.. Any advise or help is appreciated.. I will attach a development version of the package as their might be some code in it to help others..

There is more work to be done to it.....
