Hi there,

I am wondering if you can walk me through how to do the following.

Background
I have created 3 tables

Table 1 (employees - got list of all employees departments etc)

Table 2 (Internal training records - got a list of all training provided internally including and have set an employee ID so the training link back to the autonumber applicable for the employee. First employee entry is Joe Blogg no = 1 - Joe Blogg attended Presentations skills, communication skills etc so the no 1 is next to each of them as the Employee ID)

Table 3 (External Training records - Similare to table 3 but more steps required for approval of external training etc so tables were created separate)

If I need to I will find a way to merge the Internal and Externa Training into one table.

Where I want to go
I would like to create a form that is very similar to a supplier and product list. Basically what I would like is to have the employees name on top and below show a list of internal and external training.

I believe I need to create a sub form - what I found when I created a sub form was that the subform appeared as a tab and when I clicked on the tab it did not open up or show any additional information.

I would like it all to appear on one page and not with tabs etc because I would like HR to be able to print off individual employees training records. But we also need a function to be able to print off by department, quarter etc. So need to keep it all in seperate tables.

Can anyone provide me with some information on how to do this in Access 2007 (the lovely brand new version).

Thanks

Using a subform is the correct way of doing it. I've never saw this problem so I would suggest you play around with some of the settings. Don't forget to link the key fields together.
