Help Needed with Dates.

I run a trainers database to look after Students attendance records. The training sessions are annually so I would like to flag up a warning 90 days before their attedance date so that I can get a reminder letter off to them.
I think its to do with queries and I have a feeling that the criteria would be something like 365-90. Can any one help me please?

I have a fair knowledge about Access but its expressions like this I wouldn't know how to start.
Any recommended reading would be helpful to.

Using <=Date()+90 as your criteria will pick up those due in the next 90 days.
