I'm using access 2000. I have a master form and have 3 subforms =
inserted. On one of the sub forms I have a combo box. When I enter data =
from the list, I get this error message: "You can't assign a value to =
this object. * The object may be a control on a read only form.
* The object may be open in design View.
* The value may be to large for the field.
Then after you click ok to the error message it takes the data. I have 2 =
other text boxes, and one memo box that does the same thing, yet it =
takes the data if you click ok. So I'm kind of lost here. Can anyone =
help? -Thanks John.
