Help to input data

Hello guys!

For the first time I'm on the forum and I'm greeted all of you.
I also note that I am a beginner in access so do not be surprised with some of my questions (or at least do not laugh at me).
I have a problem I can not solve.

How can I put in "date_to" columns, in fields that are empty, to enter current date date (), and to keep dates in other fields as I entered it.

You would use an UPDATE query:

Before you go running any action query (UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE, etc.) make a copy of your database for when you mess up and have to restore it.

edit your Table.
click on Date_To field.
set its Default Value property to: Date().
this will save the Current Date for New records you will enter in the table.

For old records with blank Date_To, see post #2.
