Help with Update Query

Hi,

I have two tables and want to Update Fields1 & 2 in Table1 to Fields1 & 2 in Table2

Field3 in both is the same and I intended to use this as WHERE table1.Field3 = Table2.Field3

But I don't understand the little arrows that connect 2 tables in the design grid, or how to control them.

Any help appreciated.

Right click on the join line and select Properties. This provides three variants which are explained in the window.

Sometimes it takes a few attempts to get the right context menu. Just move the mouse a little and try again if you don't get the menu with properties included.
