I create an attendance register in ms access and I am feeding more than 600 employees record everday in the database. I just want to know that is there any query or something to track those staffs who was not entered in the attendance for the particular day I mean if out of 600 staffs I feed only 590 ID numbers in attendance than 10 staffs remaining so how to track those 10 ID numbers who was not entered.

Looking for your favourable response.

try making an unmatched query assuming you know the 600 that supposed to attend

Dear namliam,
Thanks a lot its working but the problem is how to filter the date.

the date?

I assume your data structure includes an attendance date

therefore work it out logically

a) have a query of all the employees who ought to be there (ie not already left etc)
b) have a query of all the employees who were there
c) match (ie UNMATCH!) these together to find the ones that werent there
