Hi everyone, I’m a retired electrical substations engineer who’s become involved with a local community committee, hence an interest in Access DB’s. I’m an avid football fan, having only given up playing at 52 after a bi-lateral hip replacement, and at 68 keen to keep fit doing whatever it is my body can withstand. Looking forward to discussing things “Access” with other knowledgeable people, as I’m a rank novice - keen and interested. Cheers from Aussie.

Hi. Welcome to AWF!

Hello and welcome to the forums.

You are not the only grandfather among our membership. "Bored" implies that the grands don't visit that often, perhaps? Or they are grown and working towards great-grands.
