I'm an old fart just getting into this Access m'larky. I have a fair amount of Excel experience but very little, actual none to talk of, in Access. My new job has led me to believe that Access is the way to go with my data sets, as they will be too large for Excel in a couple of weeks (lol) Eventually the big boys will rewrite what I'm doing and place it on an SQL server but that wont be for at least 2 years (2015ish).
I love technology, and VBA is not alien to me. I reside in the UK in Bedfordshire, close to the infamous Luton Airport.
Until recently I enjoyed motorcycling, when some knobend decided to turn right without indicating and wrote my Super Blackbird off and sent me sliding down the road on my bottom!, so now I have my eyes on a real falcon and am currently building a Mews (avery) for it. Should have that done by Spring 2014 ready for a 12/16 week old.
So in a nutshell, I'm old, love birds, and am a geek.
