Here's a "picture" of a different kind about a storm:

African Rain

Dark warriors march across the sky
Uniforms of blue, grey, green
storm the city
I wait,

I watch
Gods army flex its muscles
A whiplash bolt lights the sky
I count
One-one thousand, two-one thousand
ROAR!
The enemy is two miles away
A moment before the sky was blue
Light blue, fresh blue, clear blue
Another bolt
One-one thou…
ROAR!
Whoosh!
Spears spill in fountains from the sky
repeatedly I am hit

Skin drenched I run for shelter
The battle continues overhead
Each peal of thunder sends

more spears of rain
Until the street is a river
White waters racing to drains
ROAR!
Whoosh!

ROAR!
Whoosh!
Silence…
The army is gone, chased by the late sun
Who greedily drinks
A mammoth thirst
Quenched in minutes
Parched streets

Blue sky
No sign of rain

Tornado touched down near our home a couple of weeks back - did not get pictures of that, was too busy helping out neighbours - had a good shaking yesterday from a 5.5 quake - no video of that either...

Apparently it was "downgraded" to a 5.0.... I guess the U.S said it wasn't as big as the equipment said it was. not really sure how that works but.. whatever.
I felt it too! there is a video of it on Yahoo's main page as of 10 minutes ago. if anyone is interested.

none of you have pictures!? i guess that's for the best though....don't want to clog the servers right?

5.5 Canadian is 5.0 US. There is an exchange rate, you know.

I didn't have any pictures of the house during Katrina's presence because I was in Fort Worth at the time, by company orders. When we came back, we found mold and mildew everywhere. In the attached picture, I saw at least six different colors of ... nastiness. I've got others of the house after it was flooded, but this one shows the problems we face. About two weeks after that was taken, we found a crew that would do the teardown of the drywall (dry no longer) and they also did treatment of the studs to prevent them from being eaten away by the mold that was attacking everything.
