Any ideas on how to auto connect ODBC to MAS90?
We have tried a few connection strings, but none of them seem to be working. Everytime we run the program and goto the company we select, Access gives off an error and wants to shutdown. There is no error number or anything, just wants to send to Microsoft and not to send.
Here are a few connection strings that we used but no luck...
"ODBC;DSN=SOTAMAS90;UID=kaa;PWD=0000;Directory=G:\MASv420\MAS90\;Prefix=G:\MASv420\MAS90\SOA\;ViewDll=G:\MASv420\MAS90\Home\;Company=ABC;LogFile=\PVXODB1.LOG;DirtyReads=1;BurstMode=1;SERVER=NotTheServer"
"ODBC;DSN=SOTAMAS90;UID=kaa|ABC;PWD=0000;Directory=G:\MASv420\MAS90\;Prefix=G:\MASv420\MAS90\SOA\;ViewDll=G:\MASv420\MAS90\Home\;LogFile=\PVXODB1.LOG;DirtyReads=1;BurstMode=1;SERVER=NotTheServer"
"ODBC;DSN=SOTAMAS90;UID=kaa;PWD=0000;Directory=G:\MASv420\MAS90\;Prefix=G:\MASv420\MAS90\SOA\;ViewDll=G:\MASv420\MAS90\Home\;Company=ABC;LogFile=\PVXODB1.LOG;SERVER=NotTheServer"
"ODBC;DSN=SOTAMAS90;UID=kaa|ABC;PWD=0000;Directory=G:\MASv420\MAS90\;Prefix=G:\MASv420\MAS90\SOA\;ViewDll=G:\MASv420\MAS90\Home\;LogFile=\PVXODB1.LOG;SERVER=NotTheServer"
We are using MAS v4.20 and Access 2003
Any ideas on how to get this working?
Thank You
UPDATE ----------
This is the error code that we are getting. This is taken from MMC, in the events viewer.
"The description for Event ID (1000) in Source (Microsoft Office 11)
