Then 'normal user' cannot close a thread?
A moderator write to me that 'as a thread starter' is possible to close a thread
If a thread has a question related to the thread subject, and the question has one or more responses, then we do not close the thread since the responses could help another poster/reader at another time.

There may be some ambiguity around the question of "closing" a thread. Do you mean that you want to prevent any further responses to an existing discussion, i.e."locking" it? Or do you mean that you want to indicate that you are satisfied with the responses and consider the original problem solved?
If you want a thread locked you could try asking one of the moderators. This happens occasionally when things go off the rails. FYI, if you started the thread and are unhappy with it you can delete the whole thread.
