How to set text box background to clear when in focus?

Thank you for trying to help me, and to be so careful explaining!

I still doesn't act the way I want it to, because when I started this tread I was trying to get the text box completely transparent when active.
So that I could see the background image right true it even when it was selected.

The code you have made make the text box solid color, BUT it sure make it the same as the background color of the form.
It's a good thing, I have learned a lot of this thread by you and the others!

Uhhhhh...I see. You have a back ground image. This is what I missed. I knew it had to be something.

Nope....With a the Background image as soon as focus is applied to the Text Box the back color for the Details Section will be visible.

My apologies.

No problem, I have now re done that part of the db with solid colors
