Is this a Microsoft bug? Can it be fixed?

For Access 2007, when I open the navigation panel (pane), and view objects by tables, queries, forms, and reports, the items in the list scroll and move up and down for as much as 30 seconds, before it stops. When I am trying to alphabetically find things, the lists jumps around, and it has been DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Each time I move the scroll bar to go up or down the list, it does it again, jumping around. Very annoying.

I already have Office/Access 2007 SP2 installed.

How do I make it stop?

It is a known bug. I don't believe there is a fix at this time, except you can change your view on the nav pane from details and I think it helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try other views.
