I have a database that is on our network drive that I want other users to be able to view the database but not be able to make changes.
As it is now, only one person can be in the database at one time, and since it is needed to be viewed by all supervisors, I need to be able to allow many users to view at same time if necessary but only a couple of people can make changes.
How do I begin? Do I want to replicate, split the database, use security or what?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Noreene
