As an Access 'newby' please forgive my lack of technical terminology. Hence I can't find what I am looking for in the FAQ's or on the web!

I have created a small database, with a single simple form. What I am trying to do is to help colleages in recording data for flights we carry out.

I want to be able to click on a dropdown list of main injury headings, eg Traffic collision, HAZMAT, Home illness, pregnancy etc, and having selected the main heading, a second box opens, with more headings, eg, Home Illness - Fall, Scalding, Powertool accident, Collapse, Asthma attack etc, and having selected the second heading, according to what has been selected, the priority of the call is shown.

I can get the first drop down to work, but can't find a way to get the second and third linked tables to interact.

So the result on the page, would look like

[HAZMAT] [Unconscious-Fumes inhaled] [Priority 1]

Thanks

NW

I think you need whats called cascading combo boxes. Try doing a search here on it.
