Hi all

Just to say hi - I'm back again. Got a new job, (finished my life sentence with the NHS). After the most appalling treatment, I decided to leave. Have landed a fab job with a commercial mortgage company in Brentwood so am getting used to commuting for the first time ever!

Am working with Access and Excel all day and I love it!

Good to be back!

Ally

Welcome back to the forum Ally - How long has it been since you've been on?

HI Bob

Several months since I posted a couple of times in the watercooler and probably over a year since I did anything Access wise here.

YAY! I get tired of being the only girl around the 'Cooler at times. It doesn't seem like many visit any longer. Happy to see you're back in the fold. :)

Welcome back! I remember seeing your wedding picturess. Hope you enjoy your new job. May be you will get the water cooler more interesting again.

Thanks all!

Wow - wedding pics! About a month ago celebrated our 4th anniversary! Seems like a long time ago now!

Is Hayley or Tess or Tay not around much?

Good to see you're back , Ally.
I always liked the humorous notes from yourself and Ground. :)

Yes welcome back Ally

Now the NHS have saved your and Col's salaries, I'll be able to have my operation:D

Is Hayley or Tess or Tay not around much?

Tay looked in a while back but a bunch of us have been loath to post much as there has been a lot of UK/US wrangling that gets stitched into every post that we don't agree with. I'm afraid that particular joke's worn a bit thin for a lot of us...... Still good to hear you're doing well in the private sector. I've got afriend who's a trainee Public Health Consultant and she's looking to move from the NHS due to all the crap too.

So Barry - are you still Col's manager!?

I'd like to think that this has calmed down a little bit recently. Don't you think? :)

Well.....

There were some nasty accusations of certain moneys not being accounted for and I've had to retire, much against my will to the Cayman Islands, where I managed to buy a small place with the pittance that was my commission. I had to settle for only 10 bedrooms things were so tight..... I think Col's still in his bedsit in Southend over that pub he used to busk outside.

He never calls..........;)

Don't talk to me bloody Yank:D

Edit - Just in case there's a culture clash here - that was an example of irony :D:D:D

Sounds really tough for you! I'll have to remind him!

We're due to meet for a curry soon! :)

Don't believe a word he says, everything was legal and above board. I only ever had his best interests at heart. Now I've got to go for a swim in my pool to cool down, this's fair put me off me caviar.:(

It has calmed down a bit, hopefully it will continue. :) Next step will be getting people to come back and visit again... ;)

Thanks all!

Hayley has moved on I believe and Tess doesn't visit very often since her new job;)
Still, there are one or two here that blame others for their departure:eek:

I know from PM's from at least a couple of members that people are just sick of all the bickering and acrimonious posts. Perhaps jobs, etc. are a part of the reason as well but it is my personal opinion (right or wrong I don't know) that more people would probably visit more often if the 'cooler were a more pleasant place to be. Several members have expressed this in posts as well. ;)

Well I have told certain posters across the pond to desist, but will they listen:eek:
