I'm Back Again (1 Viewer)

You can't tell someone to stop arguing back and then ag it on. It's a two way street Rich

Well I have told certain posters across the pond to desist, but will they listen:eek:

I didn't know your reflection in the mirror was across the pond.:D

Any why won't you listen to yourself?:p

But everybody else is going the wrong way down the one way street:cool:

I've no wish to fall out with anyone but without mentioning names, what I find sad about this whole situation is that the usual perpetrators are, to a man, intelligent, personable and very likeable people who go out of their way to help with queries on the forum and with whom anyone here would spend a very enjoyable evening over a drink or two.

The fact that some share a somewhat warped and mischievous sense of humour that masks tongue-in-cheek posts with polemic simply to get a rise from others has either been missed or progressively lost over the months.

It's almost become a way of life here and as I stated before, it's worn rather thin and now has a detrimental effect on other posters - sorry but that's a fact and it should give no-one here any satisfaction.

When I first joined the forum I was very reluctant to post in the 'cooler as it seemed a bit like a club with everyone "knowing" in the virtual sense, everyone else but I eventually jumped in and it soon felt good to be part of a world wide group of friends from diverse backgrounds who could share/debate their views on anything and everything. It doesn't often feel like that now and that diminishes us all.

Well Gates is American and I've had horrendous problems with my pc thanks to XP sooooooooo:mad::D

I'm sure many will recognise their profile.......:p

Perhaps all we need is make use of the smilies more often.:eek::D:p

Since you haven't mentioned names - I have to guess - Col and Statsman?

Sorry I forgot the smilies! --- :-)

Hayley has moved on I believe and Tess doesn't visit very often since her new job;)
Still, there are one or two here that blame others for their departure:eek:

Hayley left Sky, but I still keep in touch by text.

Ally, when are we doing lunch?

Col

Aaaaggh! Stop it stop it stop it!!!

Peace man!

Col - how're you doin?! Was thinking of you the other day as I'm sure I see your old Mondeo in Brentwood! Have you started the ambulance driving now? You've never gone and gotten the internet at home!?

I can only do evenings now mate if you're up for that?

Is Hayley or Tess or Tay not around much?

I'm here! Nice to see you back here, Ally.:)

We're now living in Newcastle (wasn't Fizzion a Geordie?) and are students at Newcastle uni doing GIS degrees. Next semester, we'll be taught how to create a relational database... I may be posting more on here, needing to know what tables are...:D:rolleyes:

After a month of waiting, we finally got an internet connection, so should hopefully drop in here more.

Do you miss France? I seem to remember you were really looking forward to moving there.

Yes, we both do miss France a lot, but are enjoying Newcastle too. We've still got our house in France, so intend to return during the summer holidays, and maybe Easter too.
