Hi!

I'm so glad this forum is here. I've been working in MS Access since the mid-90s - primarily writing queries and reports.

I've been given the assignment of continuing to develop a database I created that previously primarly ran just the queries and reports I'd created from data entered in a commercial database (I actually used to work for the vendor as technical writer, web developer, trainer, help desk, installer - you name it!).

I'm currently working for a large integrated health system in the midwest. There isn't support here for the advanced use of Microsoft products - and I've gone beyond what the vendor will support.

While I'm still working in Access 2000 (I know), I have done a lot with query and report writing and hopefully will have things to contribute. My biggest struggle is that I'm far from proficient in VBA.

I'm going to go to the Query forum now to write about my current headache.

Thank you for the welcome Paul!

I should mention that this site has helped me solve problems many times with posts already in existence. It really was time for me to stop lurking:)!
