Since I am new to just about everything that has to do with Access I have been doing my best to learn as much as I can from others peoples templates and posted databases. I have created some pretty decent Forms (IMO) by playing with the wizards and premade controls. I am having some problems integrating a few ideas I have found.

I have been looking at Oldsoftboss's search forms that were listed here:

http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123219

Problem is I can’t seem to figure out how the elements (text box, list box and combo box) are working together to list the items in the list box. I have been trying to read up but can’t seem to figure out how it’s doing what it’s doing. Any ideas where to look?

Also, if I can integrate this into my database, I would like to keep the double click functionality but have it to where I could single click an item, click a button and it would open a new form which would provide information on a value that has a relationship to the item being clicked.

I hope this makes sense and someone could help me out on this. I have made some major headway so far but still got some roadblocks. Thanks again for all the help so far.

Okay well with alot of reading, file backups and messing with things...I am no closer to figuring this thing out.

I did figure out that is has to do with VB script (I think?). It seems the script might have something to do with queries as well but I am still having trouble figuring out how it works. Anyone know a good place to start reading?
