Importing excel data - sample database

I really need a simple sample database which demonstrates how to select a an excel file from a chosen location and transfer the data to the specified table.

Can anyone point one out to me please?\

if you want to import a single XLS file from excel, you can do this through the import wizard in access. or, if you want a coding solution, see this sample - which works on any number of excel files that are selected.
