Question Importing from another Access DB

Hi all,

Im looking to either link or import tables from a different DB. The DB has security on it but Im not sure how to pull the information across. If I use Excel and get external data using a Microsoft Query Im prompted for the credentials and then I can query the tables. Is this something which isnt possible in Access? Inperticular Access 2007?
