importing last updated file

Hi all,

Sorry if this seems simple - it's just a branch I'm not familiar with. I have googled and searched this site and all of the code-monkeys are out of the office today

Anyhoo.

I have a form with a button that imports a spreadsheet to my db. I need to build something that returns just the last updated file in the folder location to the db.

If the spreadsheets you're working with are Excel spreadsheets, you can find the code needed to determine the last write (save) by following this link.

You could use this code in an Access module under an Excel object model reference to probe all the files in the spreadsheet folder in order to determine which has the latest timestamp.
