Importing Paradox Database

I have a very old paradox database (I thnk), where the designer is no longer available to contact. I have located the tables, which have a file extension of .DB

However when trying to import the data files, Access comes up with the message "EXTERNAL DATA IS NOT IN THE EXPECTED FORMAT".

Does anyone know of any drivers/locations where I can convert the data to the correct format.

How sure are you that it is a Paradox database? My first suggestion is to try dBase III or dBaseIV, maybe the files were stored with an extension of .db instead of .dbf. The other thought is to see if you have an older version of Access, which may import your older Paradox data. Then, try pulling that older Access database into the newer Access. Good luck!
