Is there a way to see inactive accounts stored in the .mdw?

I have many people using my DB, but due to a lot of movement with our employees, it's hard to keep track of who's still here and who isn't.

I have noticed that I have quite q few old names, which I deleted, but a "last logon timestamp" or something would be aesome.

Thx.

The only way I know to do this is to build a custom login file / process into your db. I don't think Access has anything built in...

Generally, unless you have some sort of auditing facility active in your DB, there is no reasonable way to know this from Access. But...

If you have a site domain manager or operational unit sub-domain manager, you could supply that person with the account names in question and ask "Are these usernames still valid in our domain?" If the answer is NO, you've got a useful answer.

If you have a switchboard form or startup form, you can "sneak" a logging entry into that form using the Form_Load event. You would log CurUser (or whatever that function is) and the Now function. That would tell you a timestamp of the last usage by the named user.

If your users see the DB window on startup and no form takes control, you are going to have use other means of finding out this information.
