input mask for field (1 Viewer)

I have a field which the user puts in a diretory path eg
x:\eic\eic file.sav

I am looking to have the "x:\" in the field already so the user just types the rest of the path without typing in the "x:\" section.

have looked at the input mask helpfile but it is not very useful!

any tips gratefully received.

Preceed the x: with forward slash / which forces all character after it to be a literal character.
