Inserting multiple Ole objects

I've written VB code to insert all files in a user specified directory into an OLE field. A new record is creatd for each file. No problem with bmp, doc, or xls. But Powerpoint will only insert the first file then hang and quit. If I place a message box between ach file and wait a few seconds the next file will insert and we can continue this way for as many files as are in the specified directory. I've reregistered PPT (.../regserver).

Any ideas on what is happening?

The standard OLE server has some problems with PowerPoint files. Have a look at the www.SWREG.org site and search for "Powerpoint with ACCESS", this is a will solve your problem.
