Hi,

I have designed one invoice report for my db program.

To fix appearance of data at desired place on report, I have created / saved new form with required width, height and top & bottom margin. This I did it selecting printer and server properties where we can save in size of reports.

The invoice size is half of A4 size paper which have perforation at end so that it can be torn out from my Epson dotmatrix printer.

My problem is even after selecting the newly saved report for printing, we are to press Back button on printer to let the invoice roll go back and starts from the begining. This we do after printing of every invoice. I hope this way button of the printer will get damaged soon.

I want to print the report / invoice and then there should be no need to press any btn to take the rest of roll back

Any idea ? Is there any solution to avoid this?

With kind regards

Have you specified that you are using that particular printer to print the invoice? Do not use it as default printer even if it is. By specifying the actual printer you can nominate the paper size and the rollback lines prior to each print session. However I would suggest that you move on to a laser printer as this would cut out alot of issues.

Thanks David,

I specified paticular printer. But still facing problem.

You may be correct the problem would solve if I use laser one but in that case I can not have multiple CC of invoices.

With kind regards,

I don't think that this is an Access issue more likely a printer issue. You should be able to set TOF (Top of form) before a print job commenses. Check your printer settings especially the retreat lines section.
